Polypropylene BCF
Usually the most affordable of all the fibres. It is highly stain resistant and water repellent. Its economical finish can make the vacuuming of hair/lint difficult.
Polypropylene Heatset
Generally less expensive than other fibres it is the most popular type of rug we sell. The heatset treatment straightens the yarn permanently and makes it ideal for vacuuming. The heatset yarn is also ideal for use in the mechanical looms used to weave rugs, ensuring a consistent and high quality machine made rug. A pile density of one million points per square metre will ensure a very sharp appearance to the rug design. These rugs are colourfast and highly resistant to staining.
